You Gotta Start Somewhere (Again)

So, I've decided to give this another go, despite my many misgivings about myself as a writer. I mean, I try to teach primary school students that poetry, narrative writing, making lists, creating presentations and reports and the like are fun things to do and also achievable by anyone. So, it's only fair that I practice what I preach. 

Without further ado:

My name is Jessica. My former surname is Winsor. Right about ...    now   .... you've made the connection to my cleverly crafted blog name, haven't you? Winsor? Yes, there are some stories passed on by distant relatives that the name does indeed come from somewhat royalty. An Earl or a Duke or something. There are also tales that maybe Winsor was the chosen last name of some scoundrel who fled England, traveled through Windsor, Canada and at the last minute, changed his name as he crossed into Michigan.   

Trailing off already? Whoops. 

I would like to share my musings and travels with you:

Here is attempt number 2 at sharing my experiences as a world traveler (traveller)....ah...which spelling to choose? I may just fluctuate between American and British spellings, depending on my location and mood. :)

Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading my writing as much as I will (try to)
enjoy writing my writing. And if I figure out how to use my fancy brand new camera, I hope my photos also capture the joy of being free to roam.
